My first one that I was using for jamming and practices died after about 4 uses. I heard this was common with the early units. I just got my replacement and haven't tried it out yet. But until it makes it through about 10 jams, I'm not going to trust it in live situations. But I'd say it could definitely accommodate a small venue. Unless you're doing basic blues, you're definitely going to need something to color the tone. I've used my Digitech RP250 or my TS808 to do so...

Mine is still going strong.
My son-in-lay is using it now and has had no problems.

Thanks for the response guys. Glad to hear that it is as loud as advertised. I've played through 120-200watt solid state amps that a barely loud enough for rehearsals much less a gig. I'm definitely going to jump on one of these when I have the scratch. It seems perfect for small gigs. A lot of bang for the buck too.

I'm actually thinking of getting two lunchboxes for my touch guitar setup... Has anyone tried how they sound with basses?

But that was the little one, right MM? Personally, I'm wondering about the "Club" model on bass...

Yup that was the little one.
I haven’t gotten a chance to try the “big” one yet.
One of these days I’ll get around to it.

Considering what a decent sound you got out of the little one, I'm thinking that the club could be the way to go for me... someday...
