That's just what the operator I was dealing with told me. But who knows - maybe he was just yanking my chain to make sure I didn't change my mind at the last minute.

Looks cool...I always like bitcrushers.
Some other guys released a pitch/harmony thingy...kinda reminds me of diatonic/quadravox on the pitchfactor.

Mono Tonecore pedals occasionally go on ebay for $22-$39. I really love the stereo docks, though.

Thanks! And thanks everyone else.
Ah cool!
There's also this guy's pedal, but I have no idea if it's for sale yet.

Assuming you mean the ToneCore module?
Line 6 sells 11 stompboxes that are all based on the ToneCore platform:
http://line6.com/tonecore/modules.htmlThe dock contains a DSP chip, footswitch, and the input/output jacks. The module contains the knobs, switches, and a microcontroller that reads the knobs and tells the DSP chip what to do, along with the DSP code for the effect. The module plugs into the dock kind of like a laptop into a docking station. The idea is that you can buy one dock and a bunch of modules, swapping them out when you need different effects, and overall saving money because you aren't buying the enclosure every time. You can buy the empty dock by itself, but as theinteriorleag and eti point out your best bet is to find a good deal on one of the Line 6 ToneCore stompboxes.
People like us can buy a ToneCore dock with a USB port and software to program the DSP in assembly language. More information about that side of things is here:

Just a reminder that the bidding on the first module ends today!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0382179889Next week we're going to begin an offer limited to ILF members
of $70 each for the first batch of 10 modules.
So if you don't win the bid today, you can still get a good deal on it.
