Man!

why don't you live in new jersey man?!

at my local guitar center they're doing a vintage used clearance, and they have:

Fender Twin Reverb pre master vol.: $499

Fender Super Reverb w./ master: $699
:erm:

i'm actually going to go buy the twin this weekend.

The ’80s Fender Concert, a Super Reverb on steroids.
Change the coupling caps between the PI and power tubes to .1 uf and it will sound very much like a silver face SR.
And at ½ to 1/3 rd the price of a Super Reverb.

^^This. The guitarist of one of my older bands played through one of these. It's a beautiful sounding amp. Probably the last amp of quality fender made. I mean i love the Deville's and stuff, but if you've ever opened them up, the parts quality is
I've got a fuzzbox and i'm not afraid to use it

I liked the DeVille I had but it was so damn trebly and brittle sounding when I turned it up loud.

If I get the Ampeg, perhaps I should grab a Twin instead of a Super to go with it, just because I'd get more cleans. Good idea?

Something about that "..." seems rather ominous.

Great news, you’ll love the amp.

The … wasn’t ominous.
