Me and my buddy Clint had this idea that lighter fluid burnt pretty cold, so we waited until it got dark, draw a smiley face on the carpet and set it on fire. Problem was the carpet was cheap as fuck and made of nylon and it melted, so we had like this hard black plastic smiley in the middle of the carpet. We bought some paint roughly the same colour as the carpet and painted it, and an exacto knife, and chopped the plastic until it resembled carpet again.

I thought I could win best carpet destruction story, but damn dude. You did it. You crazy sonofabitch!

I genuinely didn't need a damn thing past what I have.

So what'd I do?

I had a custom dual treble booster made for my birthday..because I could.

Which led to buying a rackmount SDD-320 clone for the master channel of the studio live board (I have it already in the outboard gear in the mastering suite).....and then a Warm Audio Jet Phaser after fighting off getting one for a year.

What comes next?

Fuck if I know.

I haven't destroyed any carpet but I did pour gasoline on a futon and watch it and bunch of possessions burn, while playing...
