Because you clearly don't have enough good amps

I don't! But it is perhaps true I don't need more solid state guitar amps.

Gotta fire up a tube amp every now and then.
You should solve your problem buying one of those 200+watts amps no one ever gets to turn above 1 because they're too loud, but hey ++++stoner scene points

maybe not the right speaker? aren't most modeling amps supposed to be played with really hifi speakers?

I always looked down on the importance of speaker/cab differences a little bit but recently I've acquired a few more cabs and speakers and realised what a huge difference it can make even with the same amp. So yeah, not all amps are gonna sound great through all cabs I guess.

i've found in the past that most cheap amps cabs come with really flat speakers, like a seventy80 or something. tbh i had heard a lot of praise for the katanas from various people, but it was damned by a few who's opinions i really trust.

It's a case of this is designed to be used with the specific Katana speakers and cabs.

If you want to go full-range, get a GT-100 or GT-1000 and be done with it!

Honestly I don't see the point in adding an extra cab to that amp - if I needed more I'd go with a good old valve head - but it sounds new to me. I can't try it on mine as the 50w version doesn't have a speaker out.

it was the head, which i know has a built-in speaker, coz i've heard it and that sucks too!

Then I don't know, there were pedals going into the amp? I found that the only thing this amp dislikes are some dirt pedals that I usually use add volume and gain to the signal and boost the amp into saturation, like the DBA Interstellar OD.
