He's around lurking from time to time I believe. Currently running modular triggered by his drum set.

I haven't seen his random drumming on instagram for a while either. But tbh that could be an algo thing. I didn't smash his like button hard enough.

I regretfully admit that my board is colour-coordinated and I'm working on a second one. In my defense, it wasn't intentional at first, but at a certain point I realized the vast majority of pedals I wanted for my board were blue, blue-ish, and/or neutrally-coloured, and my brain couldn't let that go. That doesn't mean I'll skip using a pedal because it doesn't exist in the right colour, but it does mean I'll consider alternatives and refinishing options. I hand-fucked-with the finish on my DL4 to get it to match, I ordered a custom finish for my RM-1N, and I've considered getting my Brothers acid-etched.
As for the other board, I have an idea for another band that has been leading me in the direction of slowly accumulating red (and, again, neutral) pedals. What's interesting is that the entire idea for the band was born of there being a few red pedals I liked and realizing I could do some interesting stuff using them in tandem. I guess it's a testament to the "restrictions breed creativity" mantra. I'm probably two-thirds of the way toward having gathered the initial roster of pedals to try forming that band.
EDIT: The physical building of the blue board is documented over in the guitar tech and projects forum, listed as "Quarantine Pedalboard Project", but includes shots with all the pedals too, for those interested.

This makes me happy!
Incidentally I’ve now decided to make a all black board

I think his account went dark for "personnel reasons", but I do miss smashing that like 4 modular thdrumms TBQH
Anyway, maybe I should make an "icons of british comedy" themed board while I have some holiday downtime.
It'll be "cool"

Only here to say that the Snk VHD is easily one of the best high gain distortion pedals ever. It makes me question why I still have anything else for that role.

The question is: how are you gonna see those knobs while playing the blackest metal in the darkest basements?
