there was an odd spate of TV situation comedies in the 60s based on otherwise mute things talking to their owners. by far the weirdest was My Mother, The Car, in which Jerry Van Dyke's mother's spirit had taken up residence in a classic car from the 1910s-20s. many AH-OOGAHs and headlight blinks were involved IIRC.

This is a genre ripe for resurfacing, except no one thinks it's weird now to talk to inanimate objects.

i seem to recall a Knight Rider reboot on the horizon, hopefully not a gritty reboot with KIT cruising the Gotham streets at night.

I rebuilt it from scratch. Had to make it stronger, faster, more hosted in 2020 than the original.
