Yeah I agree, these things do really play and feel great. I honestly haven't done a lot of troubleshooting. I haven't even changed the strings on the Mandocello or the Tenor since I've gotten either of them. I also don't do a lot of playing up the neck too far so I haven't really noticed any intonation issues. Just the weird tuning issue, which you are right, it could be string slippage or something wonky with the tuner
