Electro Harmonix Hot Wax might do what you want. I use the EHX Hot Tubes on my bass, always on, gain very low and I love it. It has no "bass" only a tone control.

I recently bought the EHX HOT WAX, which is the Hot Tubes and and an EHX Crayon distortion in one box. It had a bass and treble knob so I figured I would like it that much better. Ultimately, it did not replace the original Hot Tubes on my bass board but that because I am already bonded with it and its place in my chain. But while I had the Hot Wax, the bass tone was quite capable.

How about an EQ and an LS2 along with your Timmy?
Lots of possibilities for you to try out the perfect sound.

Yeah a separate EQ might just do the trick if the Timmy is mostly there. LS2 could add extra tweaks.

I too endorse the idea of an EQ. I bought an MRX 10 band recently (used, very cheap) and the potential is limitless! I never thought it'd be a pedal I'd need and it's quickly become something I love on my board!

Yeah just get an elements already! I think it would pair awesome with the timmy too. Like you could even just run it as a clean boost with 3 band eq into the timmy even if there is no reason to do that since its an awesome distortion
