I have two filing cabinets full of pedals, a bunch thrown on the floor. I have an extra amp head sitting on my desk, cable everywhere. I don't even know. Microphones everywhere....

I am hoarding?

but i feel you on the amp head, i can buy/sell thousands of pedals but i have a hard time selling amps (and guitars), mostly because when i grab them is because i am absolutely sure it's the perfect amp for what i need.

I'm deffo a hoarder. I get to attached to stuff easily. For example i've a couple of Dr Scientist pedals, some of them I haven't used for years but I don't want to sell them since I got them straight from Ryan and it'd feel fake to not have them anymore. I like the feeling of really having supported a builder. Either that or I keep hold of things so long that when I actually want to sell them I don't feel the money I'd get is worth as much as keeping the pedal around. Also, I tell myself being in Sweden and preferring to buy direct from builders as much as possible combined with the fact that I don't see things I like pop up close very often is reason for not to part with stuff. Obviously not the case with Boss stuff etc. I have way more stuff than I use regularly but still feel I rotate quite a bit. For a long time I was in 2,5 bands (live member of the third one, hence the half) and used at least 10 pedals per band and the occasional droning/noodling at home and that feeling has kinda stuck with me (probably cause I enjoyed it so much) although that's not really how it is anymore. But yeah, hoarder, though I call it "collecting" a lot of the time, but yeah, deffo a hoarder. Which feels like an massive luxury to financially be able to be.

Everything I dont use get put in The Pile. I used to sell things but then I rebought some stuff so I realized its just better to keep everything if I should need it :)

most of what i seldom use is either fuzz/distortion/boosts or fucked up in some way (e.g. i have a Copilot filter that randomly over-amplifies random passages). i keep the fuzzes because i figure that like the 7 operable electric guitars, they'll come in handy at some point for recording or overdubbing. i keep the messed-up stuff because i cannot sell it in good conscience. the Boss Slicer could probably go, though.
