I currently have a cache of plectrums fashioned from black horn, bone, copper, and coconut shell. The attack of bone is interesting, though its rigidity is a bit off-putting (kind of like copper). Black horn jazz picks have a precise feel and coconut seems better suited for bass. Dunlop Ultex continues to be my favorite pick material, though I'm curious about stone.

agate picks are interesting.. not super useful but they do make interesting sounds.
