i haven't experienced the internet reacting to my conversations--yet--but then i mainly use my phone as a net device and never use any speech-recognition apps precisely because i'm leery of letting the phone Google-translate everything i say.

I've had my email used (by others) so many times to sign up for random website newsletters and stuff that I don't think Google could make a suggestion to me if it wanted to.

The weird thing with that call though was there wasn't anyone on the line, it wasn't some sales pitch thing, the caller ID just said "wire moulding" after discussing that the day before. Some weird ass Skynet shit if you ask me.

nah. Had my identity stolen a couple years ago. On top of all the fraudulent purchases, I also got signed up to I have no idea how many mailing lists. My poor gmail account was almost full a couple months ago. That's a lot of spam.

I have never used a speech recognition app so don't think that keeps you safe!!
