Head wraps are ideal for us fatheaded folks - why didn't I consider any of these non-Albini looks before :idk:

i was waiting for Lester Young to show up.

a fedora would look even sillier on my head than it would with my persona/wardrobe. lately i'm into the kind of oversized knit beanie hipsters were wearing c.2008.

leave suspenders out of this thread. real labourers want nothing to do with fedoras or any other of the clothing in this thread :picard:

I'm going to respect your wishes, not because I want to (I was trying to find pictures of Ducky from PRETTY IN PINK in suspenders this morning), but cause I love and respect you so much.

Tell that to 19th century England bredda. Or the entire Mennonite population that surrounds me, they *love* their fedora's and other similar hats, dress very formally and labour as hard as any man can labour. Come 40 degree summer or -40 winter, they'll be out there in their blue shirts and cool hats, hands like hams and elegant shoes.

I've been wearing a small stetson lately, to embrace the countryside living and because I wanted to feel more confident in my general villainy. No one bats an eyelid at it where I live, as as I live on the high street of a cowboy town, it really does make me feel like Texas Red.

When I hit 40 I'm going to wear a tweed hat and enter my "Yorkshire farmer who got really, really lost" phase. Sharky, I want you to wear a straw fedora constantly. headphones on top of it, crushing the sides down.

  I will be the foil to your person and try to be "Jersey Farmer [they exist] who got lost in Yorkshire'.
Side note, I have more draw string hats than I care to admit...

I used to wear a fedora. I inherited it from my grandfather, who passed away in the late 80s. Mid-90s, I was all aboard the ska-punk train and you could see me tooling around town in my grandfather's fedora, tying together an outfit otherwise composed of a Toasters t-shirt, cargo shorts, and Chucks. One day, I went out to a scooter rally/ska festival and fell asleep watching some punk band reunion (the Meatmen, maybe?) late in the evening. When I woke up at the end of their set, my grandfather's fedora was gone. I've been off my hat game ever since.

I used to wear an inherited Country Gentleman hat -- looking now it was a Cuffley, which they call a fedora:

I looked so lit.
(that's not me)

I believe they have anything anyone in this thread could possibly need:

I have a couple of those hats too. I always liked them.

@Olin - Fashion related. I still wear my BARE WIRESON shirts (that's right plural) all the time. Still think about ugly reaboks too.
