I endorse this post and give it my thoughts and prayers.
My favourite is the NYC op-amp - I have an OG and a Wren & Cuff Eye See Pi and that’s the salty pickle for me.
I am more attuned to distortion for bass these days - the XMD HM-2 clone from Siberia is my go to sound.
While we’re talking bass drives I’m really curious to try the W&C Overdrive (250 OD?). I might buy one. I like yellow. I also like the Boss BASS OD A LOT.

My fave dirt pedals for bass are Fuzzrocious Cat Tail and Dwarfcraft Eau Claire Thunder. I'm currently not playing bass in a band and just miss playing through those too constantly. Can't go wrong with any of them two.

I run an ss/bs tafm and russian big muff for bass fuzz like all other losers (hitting either an elements or terraformer to overdrive the fizz away). The real fav bass fuzz I had tho was the death by audio supersonic fuzz gun! All the sludgy industry grossness you need! Into a whammy pedal its heaven. should have kept it

Im a bass player primary. I am somewhat newish to.fuzz. currently using voodoo sparkle drive to emulate guitar (sound semi hollow body to me)...for bass I use a broughton bass box for heavy, a broughton rumblefish (clone of a spaceman) for transistor fuzz, a 5th gear v1 for boost and stack em every which way.

Oh Cool! I didn't know anyone had cloned the Rumblefuzz! Might have to give that a go since I've heard from multiple users that the Rumblefuzz was Spaceman's best to date.

Josh's fuzzes seems awesome. Kinda wanted to try that one that had a parametric mid. Wish his pedals weren't the collectibles they are

It's been awhile since I've played bass but Russian muffs always treated me right.

Bass fuzzes I go to most
Muff-type: electrofoods oprichniki, Frost giant soma, champion leccy the bloody gett
Rat type: Fuzzlord drone master, electrofoods Nepenthes
Others: Meathead, Mountainking Megalith, BAT oath, Philly fuzz heretic
Yeah, a blend is nice with a dirty amp/always on dirt or pre, but otherwise it just sounds weird and kinda fake.

I'll throw out a few that need more attention..
Any of the gain pedals by Amptweaker (bass versions)
Hands down, best "clean" blend of any current pedal.
The blend is low passed so it's only clean low, not a full range signal. You don't get any of the weird phase shifty issues or "2 sounds that have nothing to do with each other"

Love my Creepy Fingers Pink Elephant if I'm looking for a fuzz to go after another dirt pedal/my Meatbox where I want something nasty added to my already distorted tone. Fuzz by itself is usually Great Destroyer clone for really gross, Devi Hyperion for bright and grindy, and BAT Pharaoh for the rest of the time.

Oh I forgot the Great Destroyer. Ridiculous bass fuzz
