some of my favorite table top effects for noise are the Sirkut Electronics RMOD and the Jomox M-resonator. these arent really a set and forget it kind of effect, the more you turn the knobs the crazier and more amazing they sound. you dont even need a guitar to play these things, they make their own sound most of the time
im having a trogotronic model 666 made for me right now and i have very high hopes for this piece of gear. i dont think you can go wrong with 11 knobs

This is a very cool video, but I gotta tell you, when I clicked on the actual video to watch it on YT, I actually got sidetracked and ended up watching many videos about the Heaven's Gate cult.
