No, the buffer's only on if the pedal isn't engaged.

Since I keep it on pretty much all the time, the buffer doesn't really come into play for me.

I use it as an end-of-chain boost/tone shaper. Dead last in the chain.

It's entirely amp, pedal and guitar dependent though. That's what I think anyway.

Both worthy. Was listening to Warehouse the other day for the first time in forever and had the thought: Had there been a more catchy double album since The White Album? I couldn't think of one (which means nothing other than brain power ). Husker Du were impossibly prolific.

Both worthy. Was listening to Warehouse the other day for the first time in forever and had the thought: Had there been a more catchy double album since The White Album? I couldn't think of one (which means nothing other than brain power ). Husker Du were impossibly prolific.

I'll remain silent on the Beatles, but yeah, Husker Du transcended the era. There's not an album from their catalog, or Sugar's, that I'm not happy to put on.

I've softened on the Beatles in recent years but I still have no use for them. Long story short, I got into music because of punk rock in the early 90's and was already well acquainted with the Clash and the Sex Pistols before I heard a Beatles song. The result was that when full Boomer nostalgia hit, I had already filed them away as irrelevant to my interests, alongside Elvis and the Turtles. I don't actively loathe them or anything, I just need something from my music that they lack.

"Helter Skelter" is a banger, tho, and I love George Harrison's solo work.

Pretty much everything from Revolver to the end, they pushed boundaries and The White Album is Exhibit A.

I kind of feel the same way about Pink Floyd that you do the Beatles: I really can't stand Pink Floyd even though I've had a number of people tell me that my own musical creations reminded them of fucking Pink Floyd. Having said that though, my girlfriend recently introduced me to Meddle and I actually kind of like that one.

Dead serious, I wonder what a Klon would sound like with a Distortion+. The only issue with the Mustard God is that it is too quiet. A Klon might be the right way to pump up the jam.

Distortion+ into Soul Food is as close as is possible in my tax bracket. I suspect that it will rock as hard as Crowther Hot Cake into Timmy did.
