Only used them once when I ordered a Boomerang III. It was at that time the most expensive pedal I ever ordered (and could still be) and they shipped it with a declared value of 0.00 so I expect that if it had got lost / damaged I would have been shit out of luck. Thankfully it arrived in one piece but I have never used them since then and I have seen nothing to convince me to change my mind.
Oh yeah, then I started seeing all the horror stories of small builders getting put over the barrel by them.

Last year I had paid for a pre-order on a Rainger Deep Space, and after a few months of being assured it would be in soon, they had to cancel it. I often wonder if they lose these brands because the brands are also not happy with the way they do business. I did get a refund on that order tho.
They lost Thomas/Fuzzhugger and I don't see any Dwarfcraft on there.

Pretty sure SS/BS Brian won't deal with 'em as well.

Yeah, it doesn't balance. You can tell yourself that all you want.

At that point, the damage is already done.

Yeah I ordered a Swindler Red Mountain, watched other places get in two separate batches in the time I waited for mine from Prymaxe, then finally just gave up and still had to spend my store credit there. Really soured me on them. It seems like almost everything good is on "pre-order" and I can almost believe that its to rope people into tying up money on their site and that they're never gonna get the item in that you want.

Makes me regret ordering something on preorder from them. The company still lists prymaxe as a dealer so that’s something to be hopeful for but I’ll probably contact the manufacturer before trying to deal with them when the time inevitably comes. Sucks shit.

I recently began to place an order for a Ringworm and backed out after my "VIP coupon" was a no-go. This was, of course, not possible to verify until after logging into PayPal and nearing the point of submitting the order. It turns out, though I emptied my cart and never authorized the transaction or received any sort of confirmation email, these assclowns charged my account. After 2 prior pre-order debaucles, definitely never doing business with Prymaxe again. I'll gladly pay 5% more during sales with more trustworthy competitors.
[Edit:] The charge disappeared at some point today, but my boycott will continue.

Necrothread but seriously prymaxe... What a garbage company.
Ordered a Zoia early March. Paid to have it shipped DHL insured to Australia. Prymaxe posts USPS... Why? So it gets caught up in their customs, whatever.
Gets to Australia, then gets lost. This is why I wanted a tracked courier with insurance and paid for it. Prymaxe still will not admit that this is a mistake, even though it's on my reciept.
I contact Prymaxe, they tell me to wait. I wait two months, still hasn't arrived. Prymaxe says I need proof. Australia Post gives me proof. Prymaxe says more proof needed, I need the postal service to admit fault. The one they chose to post through, not the one I paid for... I ask for a refund in postage difference since they posted using the wrong service ($20 dollar price difference, Prymaxe refunds $2, says that this is the price difference...)
Aus Post gives me a signed letter. Says they will only reimburse me $100 for the lost package, that's their policy and asks me to contact Prymaxe. Prymaxe policy: "All of our international shipments are fully insured and are guaranteed to be delivered or your money back" Prymaxe says store credit. I want a refund, they reply with their OTHER policy on the same page which contradicts this one. "we will issue you a Prymaxe Digital Gift Card for the original purchase price" So the whole thing up top is a lie?
Begrudgingly I accept a gift card. They tell me I can have it in 45 more business days.
Fuck Prymaxe

Did you pay through PayPal? If so and you're in the 6-month window, you absolutely need to get them involved.

Prymaxe no longer uses Paypal, they use Shopify so shoppay... Just another reason to avoid them.
Credit Card charge back is happening just thought I'd warn. Prymaxe used to be ok for international now it is most certainly not.

So weird. I know I'm a vocal hater of them but I did buy something from them a few months back, they gave me a discount, I paid with Paypal, they were super nice and sent it fast.
I wonder why this happens? I know I shouldn't have bought from them, but they literally were the ONLY place I could find what I wanted. It came in a bubble mailer, but I chose for it to. Sounds really bad man. I'm sorry. I probably would have tried to dispute but sounds like they are trying to prevent that. HOWEVER, I know law about this kind of stuff and they cannot sell you a product they do not have in stock and ready to go, so if that is the case, then you could legally demand a refund. I have done so and actually used a lawyer before for a case like this. It was for less money too, but I was fucking pissed off. I'm sorry.
Makes me think of when my pedal got lost in the mail or how Neon's almost did in our temp trade (that would have fucking sucked). Things just don't get to where the fuck they are supposed to go sometimes. WHY??? Where the fuck is it? Did they send it back to Prymaxe or did some customs asshole steal?

How do you browse Prymaxe---on a desktop or mobile device? It could be a browser issue, or I suppose they could block it for some countries.
It would be essentially impossible for Prymaxe to completely cut ties with PayPal---considering they have to offer it on Reverb & eBay.
I'm still seeing it, when I look at direct checkout.

A couple years ago I ordered a deeply-discounted pedal for BF. (it wasn't disclosed that it was a pre-order) I checked out with my Amazon card, but I didn't use Amazon.com (so I could get the discount). It took over 100 days to get a refund, because Prymaxe would not reply to emails or authorize the chargeback. Synchrony eventually gave me a refund, but it was a PITA with the 90-day window closed. The pedal arrived around the 6-month mark, because Prymaxe's internal communication is so poor. I do not recommend hours of phone calls and months of waiting to get free pedals.
While this pedal was 6-months behind on backorder, Prymaxe never froze the item page. They don't give a fuck about harming their suppliers or customer relations. You could spend $10K with them in a month, and the next month they're doing everything they can to lose your business forever.
