Like two stomp switches, one chooses pot A or switch 2. If switch 2, it's either pot B or C.
For the amount of money and effort it would take to make this work you would just be better off buying a second pedal. It doesn't really address the need to have dynamic control on the fly. You just end up with a couple fake presets that will probably still be off for how intensely locked on some of the settings are. I always used mine full wet so if its not at the exact right tempo it will be way off.

Cool. Just thinking of options out loud.

Motorized pot (or some other way of computer controlled resistance), Arduino board, and some switches (maybe a pot for division).

Momentary switch to Arduino with a +5v signal. Have the Arduino average the last three taps, do the division or multiplication, and set a pwm signal to move the motorized pot (or even another motor via gears). The motors would require some trial and error and some math to tell them when to stop unless you allow Arduino to monitor the resistance (like a dual pot or something).

The pot would be the exp control over duration. It would require some calibration between the pot value of the controller vs what settings it's locked at in the foxtrot but you could bypass the switch and use any device with a CV clock to get it all set.

There are also digital pots though they are stepped at 64 values and may not have the resolution. Another option is to find out if foxtrot will take a live signal and then just use arduino to create a voltage based on the tap switch.

Just some thoughts. It would probably work for other things too.

Wasn't there a tap tempo for the carbon copy that worked kind of liked this?

https://diystompboxes.com/zencart/index ... ucts_id=65 taptation uses a digital pot

Malekko prints exp/CV on the pedal but mentions nowhere what the CV range is. Disaster Area has that micro.clock that converts taps to 0-3.3v.

I just remembered: my cello playin' friend had a Charlie foxtrot and he used to CV it with the beatstep I traded him. I'll have to ask him and hope he remembers how it worked. We both didn't like the blend on it if I remember correctly. I think we just ended up playing with my in limbo instead.

I’ve had the pitchfactor and while it Was everything I ever wanted it was just too big and way too much goin on (I’m a simple man). Also. If there is something that I have missed out that does like a “pixely” type of pitch shifty octave stuff that’d be rad. Small size and cheap is key. May jus pick up another ps3 but maybe there is something better
I sensed that ILF needed me. This is absolutely a timebender style situation. The 1 and 2 octave up settings are "pixely", it does the "mode 7" thing, and hella other pitch delay stuff. Not as many as the pitchfactor, but there is no menu diving. It also does some tremolo, which you can add pitch to (making it like an arpeggiator as well). It is the size of a dual boss pedal, but they aren't terribly expensive.

These controller ideas are awesome, jus sayin. So I did find something that may cover all bases. How we feeling about the particle v2?

Ok, so got the particle v2. So far it’s sick. Does so much cool shit. So let’s turn this thread into talkin bout it. It def covers all the ps3 ground that I want. Throw a verb in front of it and it does some dope pixely octave verb. Dunno yet if it can cover the full stutter glitch stuff yet so if y’all got any settings holla at me!

I saved some new presets after the last firmware update wiped out my originals (I think the new ones are better anyways) but damned if I can remember.
Maybe I'll shoot a video this week if I have time. The only preset I miss was the one where I had some tremolo going on the repeats but I reckon I can get that back with more time.
