Edit: oh, his pedals are $200 now? That changes things. Damn. Unexpected GAS.
DON'T SPEAK.
Same thing happened to me.
I saw it this morning and I can't stop thinking about it.
We could ask for a sweet deal for combined shipping?

Also, I never came across a good deal for a Mini with top jacks. SS/BS kinda falls in the "rare" category here in Europe.
This, very much. Always wanted to play with more SS stuff but on lit got the TAFM couple years back because they're so rare here.

Mike Fuller is the original "or both" on the "pedal builder online
or walking embodiment of an undiagnosed personality disorder" quiz. For at least 25 years.
That is besides his more common frailties as a builder, like rote copying of devices he doesn't understand. FFS, he shipped the tape echos with "master" tape instead of cart tape for years as if this was a stroke of genius, ignorant that there was a reason that no one had done this on the original products.

I don't know who initiated this, but it was abridged long after it was originally posted. (*it has actually been revised on the Reverb.com article)
The only effects–related products by other companies I have tried in the last 25 years are the Radial Engineering studio interface boxes, like the JD7. I love what Peter Janis is doing in this area, and I really respect the way he runs his business. He must never sleep!
The first half of the quote was completely scrubbed out, to avoid making him look like such a self-absorbed douche.

Here's the subsequent discussion it spurred:

Thanks guys, just needed to know if I was endorsing someone really objectionable by using the dejavibe but seems like it's fairly standard semi-informed wrestlemania trash talk from that particular kind of pedal bro.

Walrus Audio: I don't know. I was interested in a Janus a few years ago, but the people behind the brand rub me the wrong way every time I see anything online from them.
Old Blood Noise Endeavors: Same deal, really. Some of their pedals seem sweet, but I really, really hate their "antics" and promotional offerings.
Death By Audio Effects: Nothing ever stood out for me, one way or the other.
Electronic Audio Experiments: This company seems sweet, but I've never needed anything they've put out when it's actually been available. One day, maybe...
Dr. Scientist: This is another company I want to like, but I've always just found slightly better fits for me elsewhere.
JHS: For all the reasons stated by others.

On Walrus, though, I should clarify that the one time they didn't rub me the wrong way was when they almost immediately stopped producing their Ryan Adams pedal upon hearing about all his shit. That had me give them another look.

JHS - he operates out of the same town as me, but I never understood the biz model or hype. Just seemed like from the beginning, he was enabling a buncha untalented rich church kids who needed to distinguish themselves with gear and had a beef with the local scene.
EQD - they have a strong marketing angle, but their price points seem too high for pedals I would only use sparingly because they're either too niche or someone else makes something very similar for much less. I watch all their videos though.
Wampler - I do not understand a single thing about why this brand cultivates a marquee market position. Maybe they just have a better rep in country music circles? I've never seen a single piece of theirs on another band's board - local or touring.
Catalinbread - I thought Howard was always a stand-up guy who really understood nuances of sound and built toward the engineering principle of "less is more." I supported the company in spirit, rather than financially for years. Once Nick died and they cleaned house, I'll never look at the brand the same way again.
Chase Bliss - some of his designs are pretty mind-melting, but I just was never able to hit "BUY" even knowing I could probably flip quickly without losing much. It's like I instinctively know I won't use them in my rig, so why go to the trouble?

Two big ones for me are:
Mountainking Electronics - they look and sound dope as hell but I just haven't had an opportunity to try one. Really really want to.
Lastgasp Art Labs - Too pricey and I am either not in the market or don't have the money at the time. I want them flipswitches tho.
Obviously JHS. There's of course a bunch more but figured I'd post the positive ones lol.

I'll limit mine to brands I haven't tried but that I really want to try:
D*A*M (or any of his sub-companies). I've tried clones that are Amazing and really wanna compared to the real deal.
Dr. Scientist-bitquest has been on my GAS list for a while and really intrigued by the Atmosphere
StoneFly-hear they're amazing but never cheap and the top knobs have bumped them down on my priority list
Other randoms: Way Huge, Stomp Under Foot, Fortin, Creepy Fingers, Abominable

DAM
Basic Audio
Eventide (I turned a space on while jamming fcknoise's board once but I didn't reeaally try it)
Plus lots of others that aren't coming to mind right now obviously

Fuzzrocious - I think their pedals look terrible, design wise. The primary colored knobs and the kids/cartoon/stock tattoo paint jobs. Not for me. They have some mean fuzzies though.
I absolutely looove fuzzrocious and how they look. If looks are the problem, they do make some very nice custom artwok and are super easy to work with if you want something different. HIGHLY recommended.

I honestly think they make the ugliest pedals out there. At least top 5. Just not my style.
Again though, their fuzzes sounds really good and I could always just refinish the enclosure myself and slap some other knobs on there. If they sold kits or just blank pedals, I'd consider getting one. Not paying for that artwork though, and considering their art style I would not trust them with any custom work either. You know those books of uninspired stock tattoos they have at tattoo parlours? That's the vibe I get from their designs.

I agree that most of the Fuzzrocious pedals look terrible, but they do have some great sounding fuzzes.

Aren't those only tweaked popular circuits?
That is the reason I've never tried those, graphics are not terrible, not my cup of tea either.
