my wishlist hasn't changed much from last year
I don't buy a lot of gear so pretty much anything will make me happy

It can be pedals, eurorack, any synth gadgets, guitar hardware, pickups, diy stuff
For food I avoid dairy.
T-shirt size L
Hat size, bigger than probably available
Music: CD's, digital formats, vinyl but no tapes
My kid loves to open up my mail, especially santa mail so keep it G-rated

I offered him a ludicrously low rate for his Space Echo but he denied me.

Here are some thoughts I maybe should have posted in the Whatever thread.
I love a sound I can get from my THR10C when I have it set to model a Deluxe Reverb with a closed-back 2x12 cab and the volume full up. It makes this great grindy rumble. Maybe there's an overdrive that does that? Do those hip new cabinet simulators do speaker distortion?
I'm intrigued by the Boredbrain Transmutron but it's overkill for my needs and I just want something simple with two outputs, one that kills highs and one that kills lows but I want to be able to set the cutoff frequency for each path.
I kind of want to try an op-amp muff.
I love weird glitchy digital stuff but I usually don't get along with things that are primarily pitch shifters.
I'm going to be taking some coding classes and I'd love an excuse to learn more DSP. Last year, Drolo set me up with a kit and instructions to learn Spin and that was a lot of fun. Something like an Axoloti seems like a fun next step if you want to build it into a pedal for me... I've never had much luck with building my own hardware.
I love expression control and envelope control but I don't like wahs or envelope filters.
As far as looks, I love RMA/Crochambeau and Laowiz.
I'll cherish anything you make or that's made by an ILF builder.
As far as non-gear stuff goes, I like consumable goods. I like getting to try new things that I don't have access to. So please send me something unique or local to your area. I'm not a meat eater; pescetarian, if you want to get into it. Caffeine screws me up so I'm off coffee.
I wear women's large.
I want to hear your favorite band.
I'll post some pictures of my current collection soon. I have a lot of things...

I don't do meat. Men's M for US and L for Europe because tight clothes are the devil. I still collect records and tapes but I don't have either a cassette player or a record player anymore because I am the worst.
For stringed instruments I prefer to step on things that go BWAAAAAAAAAH, and for tabletop/modular/synth/laptop stuff I prefer anything tactile. Will put together a gear photo soon because it will illustrate the types of things that have successfully stuck around (unless coldbrightsunlight has destroyed them).
Oh, and I'm hot garbage when it comes to DIY pedals. I'm the Shaggs of soldering.

First off, for the record, yes, it appears that I am a nosey cunt. Although I originally read that as noisy cunt. Either may apply. But is that cunt shaming, nose shaming, or noise shaming?
Even though I'm generally an antisocial bastard, I don't think I'm that hard to stalk. Generally open to w/e, always super appreciative and very much into the whole Satan thing ("it's the best time of the gear" tm), and don't think my wishlist letters have changed that much from year to year. But I've been asked to post more, not an unreasonable request o' dark lord, so lets start here.
Imma going to try for a serious gear inventory/dump post elsewhere, but I think most of my big purchases for the year have been mentioned at least in passing - 856, vintage MM/olympic, DFAM.
Kinda set for dirt unless it's something super violent and gnarly, although I've been eyeing up some of the vintage amp/preamp inspired/workalike pedals floating around of the Orange/Matamp/Sunn variety. Bass Pre/DI? Drone>Glitch. Bass>treble. Amp>worship. Made anywhere else > MIA, although I make exceptions for forum builders. Some sort of massive Iommi doomy wah? Reverb>delay - after hearing Robin Wattie's board in person I've been looking for used Behr Reverb Machines (and that's what's got me looking at orange/matamp clones). ReversesreveR. Stuff on the CV/modular spectrum, sure - probably going down that rabbit hole on/by black friday, start getting my VCV sketches out of the box and interacting with hardware.
XXL.
No onions/mushrooms/beer/caffeine/drugs.
SciFi. Cats. Nonfiction: singularity, non-religious/non-republican disaster prep and life skills, music theory, queer theory, Kink. Really anything that sounds cool read aloud by a femme AI over modulated HNW. Haven't read comics on a regular basis since I was a kid, but always up for anything post-phonebookera Dave Sim. Definitely curious about whatever is going on at Vertigo these days - there's new Sandman?! Sim & Gerhard, Neil, No Hope, Milk&Cheese, F Miller; that was my jam back in the day. Generally all epub/kindle/libgen all the time - last time I read something on paper, probably the most recent Chuck, I kept touching the page, trying to highlight passages.... But comics, graphic novels, that's worth cutting down trees for. Fuck ELE.
99% digital, 98% spotify. Gifts via bandcamp are supercool (should check and make sure I gave ILFSS the right email addy). SWANS, SY, DC (post) hardcore, brass bands, Miles, Coltrane (Alice>John?, maybe?), Nina, ATCQ, Ben Frost, Weird Al, Constellation Records, Nick Cave. Weird minimalist noise drone beat w/e, especially if made by Ladies. Think the last show I went to was The Body/LinguaIgnota/Big|Brave/GirlCirles, which was awesome. Before that was the Object Collection fugazi thing which may have been the biggest let down of all time.
Honestly, throw in something small to make my wife smile - chocolate, size or quantity doesn't matter but it helps keep order in casa Doommeow - and something for the cats - which is all it takes to make me smile, and you've won SS. I'm easy.

heck yeah, glad this thread exists because I've been bad about this stuff. Hello Satan!
I'm a big ol' modular boii & play guitar less than I'd like, but my eurorack is full of things I'm pretty happy with and I hate making Hard Decisions, so please consider this if you're thinking of getting me some eurorack (though I will happily audition anything!!)
If you choose to go the pedal route I'll include a list of pedals I've got below, but I'm *pretty* saturated when it comes to dirt (though a Poly-Grace is my White Whale in case you're holding onto one and feeling generous

).
I like modulation stuffs, though I cleared most of it out to repay some debt last year. pitchy stuff & flange are my favs - i loved my Gen Loss, Super Wizard (really any Wiz variant with dindindin), Alexander F13, Old Blood Reflector, & CBA Spectre. Not so big into traditional phasing, but you can try and change my mind (non-traditionally, that Ghost Fax looks HAWT).
I'm pretty tapped out when it comes to delay pedals, and I've never liked a reverb pedal (though I have a Mercury 7 en route, i will post my feelings about that in the next few days). but again, i'm willing to try anything!!!
Builders I love: Dwarfcraft, ss/bs, Meris, Adventure Audio, Cooper FX, Industrialectric, MtlAsm, and Fairfield. i've always wanted to check out Dr Sci stuff.
but seriously, i am easy to please, just trust your gut!!!
I have a sprawling record collection & an insatiable habit of buying all the new records from artists I follow, so your best bet is to do some digging or just send me something you like! Always down for synthesizer music, 20th century avant-garde/minimalist (Reich, Glass, Cage), or hip hop records. Tapes are a similar story. You can get a good peep of my taste of current artists (and what i've bought) at my bandcamp collection -
https://bandcamp.com/baremountain
Clothing-wise I'm a size M, but owing/operating a print press I am kind of a snob about tees & prefer to wear very soft shirts, and bright colors. I am less picky about socks - last year MSUousophone KILLED it with some video game socks & a v soft Breath of the Wild tee
I haven't clearly stated this here yet, but Adventure Time is my favorite TV show and any Adventure Time themed goodies will be happily received.
Re: consumables, you prolly got my message in your initial dispatch that i don't do meat & prefer vegan foods. But lemme reiterate, I love spice. I live for the spice. If I'm not sweating/regretting decisions, it's not hot enough. I also like weed & psychotropics, but, uh, ship at your own risk
That's about it I think?
modulargrid
pedals
you can peep my insta @EvanGordon for a pretty comprehensive viewing of current & old gear.
ssbs Pretty Years, TAFM, No Memory, and Mini
Dwarfcraft Happiness
Source Audio Nemesis
Fairfield Meet Maude & Shallow Water
MtlAsm Ct5 & Y&Y
Adventure Audio Dream Reefer
Eventide Pitchfactor
Red Panda Tensor
Meris Enzo & Mercury 7
MASF Possessed
CBA Thermae
buncha dirt (Boneshaker, some fuzzes, you know how it goes)

Anti wishlist:
Pls don't get me modular, I want to get my foot in the door but now it's not the time. DON'T FEED THE BEAST, FOR IT LIES DORMANT AND BROKE.
No oscillating fuzzes, I got my AB-Synth Supreme and that'll do.
Now for the do's
Music wise I love angular and broken rhythms and glitch and noise, so go hog wild on that shit.
Shorts I'm a size M. I'll slather my body with anything you give me, but please nothing explicit.
Music gear, I'm an empty box.
I hate writing these things because I don't want to seem demanding, you know?
