Pedal.. Yeah Fabtone shreds hard, Megalith is pretty brutal, I feel like the brutalist is a worthy mention..
Always spent my time on channel 2. Who knew.
is it a 3 channel Rec?
I usually do vintage voicing on my 2nd channel.
Yeah, it was a three channel. Just flipped it recently.

I certainly don't need a 3 channel triple rec anymore.. but I just can't bring myself to part with it. The little 20W shitters are more than i paid for this thing in like 2002. 6 power tubes is a pain in the ass though. Oh well

There are some super tasty combos going on here. If anyone wants to post sound clips that’d be sick

It's not fit for metal style brutality, but for facemelting/headcrushing with my Bass VI I usually use a Si Brassmaster + an octave down. Add an LPB-1 on occasion for some extra volume and subtle bass/lowmids boost. But usually it's already too loud with just the two of them

Personally, I use a tube distortion, my active preamp and whatever flavor of distortion or fuzz/overdrive I'm feeling at the moment. Right now for heavy shit, I use the Beholder, but the version I have can't handle chords very well if you have the verb up too loud. I use a TGD as well a The Elements and I stack dirt like crazy. I get so much feedback sometimes that's it's impossible not to have slamming riffs.

Elements all day.
Or She Fuzz / Apocalypse for fuzzier heaviness.

I was just laying down some pretty heavy riffs with my Depth Charge clone and Duality combined. Sometimes that shit is intense.

Until you have own a Mesa 400 and a 400+ at the same time you don't get to complain about replacing power tubes...
Also.. if we start talking amps, I will have to change my original post... but yeah those triple rec are neat with all them TAD tones
