Well, the 8 in this limited run just got more limited...final wiring on the last two tonight...and there ended up only being 7. Working with the vintage enclosures had several challenges...the stupidest presented itself tonight. One lid was nearly 1/4” shorter than all the others...so bottom does fit. So yeah. Run of 7

2 remaining if anyone wants one.

Would trimming the wall on the bottom plate put that one back on the road, or would you have completely run out of transformer room with the chopped look?

No, it is short in the worst way. Not the z, but rather the y on the face. So essentially the folded bottom plate will no longer hold it up. If that makes since.
