However the cool (or if you're not into this, the "cool") thing about The Rita, which separates him from a lot of what some folks would derisively call his contemporaries, is how obsessive the dude is about his particular aesthetic touchpoints.

The Rita FTW. Sam's a nice guy. I did a gear interview with him almost a decade ago. Dude knows a shit ton about fuzz as well. He's also very particular about the pedals that he uses.
