I also sold mine because I didn't love the sound and while I like fancy features on paper I don't use them much so

Also got one recently. I know there are two different versions ac power and a dc. Maybe one is more quiet than another? Has anyone solved this issue? Maybe putting a SHO in the feedback circuit?

Mine flashes 1.2 on bootup, I suspect this is the revision. Mine is the ac version and the repeats go to unity.

I kinda agree the mix knob is weird, I would rather just have a regular wet/dry. More useful to me though than having just a level

Mine is a 1.2 and has an AC adapter. None of the reported issues present, and I paid full market for it new.

The huge thing for me is the variance in how it handles adjusting the delay length on the different tape modes - it actually understands the difference between motor speed and variable head.

As far as some things not functioning in some modes, that's a matter of DSP availability I suspect - it is what it is. I really don't use the modulated delay at all and just use the knob when relevant for a secondary function.

Oh yeah the way the time shifts is fab. This far my favourite sound is light time warp with like an octave of 5th up. Variable speed tape at 3/4 pattern and tone at 3-o-clock with around 300ms is also nice

This is an amazing pedal but it is not without it's faults. I too have experienced issues with the repeats just being too quiet. Frankly, pitched arpeggiated delays are what set this thing apart- I'm guessing this can be done with other delays too, I'm not up on the fancier big box delays. A boost following this may be the ticket.

My advice would be to find the few settings that work in the context of what you're doing and stick to those; you've got 4 banks to save them in. Better yet, get a separate delay for your "vanilla" delays if needed. Use this sexy beast for the tricked out pitch/envelope/looping madness.

PS the AC models can apparently be converted to DC; it was performed on the one I currently own (not by me, it came to me that way). Can't help you with how. My current one is also 1.2 I think. It's the second I've owned, not sure about the first one. Too quiet delays I've heard on both, though.

Do you know anyone whos got info on the AC to DC mod? Otherwise I found out that the onespot pro has an outlet for digitech 9vac

Got the time bender in and I definitely don't understand it, even a little bit.
Glad I have an MC-403 with AC connections so I can run both the Time Bender and Whammy IV, though.

The DC conversion IIRC was done by the guy who posted here who worked for Digitech - I'm not aware of another.

That said, I just accept it as what it is.

I also abuse the hell out of the morph between patch settings with the expression (which I now automate with the Boss ES-8) - it with the same LFO sync going to the Lexicon Vortex can be a thing of horror.
