I think my mom and dad tried to conceive for two or three years, my mom always wanted a boy. I was also born on Father's Day. I exceeded expectations.

I honestly don't "get" the joke.
Either way, it was an accident... but my mom always said it was a "good accident", so I am not upset, haha.

I just asked my mom about this and she laughed at me and said "How am I supposed to know?" She calculated that I must have been conceived in late December of 1984. My parents weren't particularly trying for a new kid, probably because they just immigrated to America that year and were dirt poor. My mom said "It just happened, Jesus gave you to us." My mom isn't a religious freak so this kind of scared me, but I guess I just kinda happened and that's how I was brought into existence. But she did say she always wanted a girl

We did the math and figured out that I impregnated my wife on the day of my mother's funeral, or the day before. We always seem to have lots of sex when someone dies.
Birth, death, fucking... it's all the same thing, really.

my dad had 3 kids from a previous marriage and had a vasectomy. when he married my mom (about 15 years post vasectomy) they (probably she) decided they (she) wanted a kid. my dad had the operation reversed and I was conceived shortly there after. not much to tell. apparently my mom wanted more but i am her only... also, not to imply my dad didn't want me or love me after conception.
