To answer your questions, it definitely goes wellllllll above unity on the volume. Has a ton of gain as well, especially with the added gain from the mini toggle. (FYI that green one pictured earlier doesn't have the select-able gain stage, its in hi gain mode only). You can see I keep the level down under noon during the video.

This is Sean from SRC. I have previously made four Harmonic Energizers on the Madbean pcb. Looks like three of them are pictured in this thread.

My pal John at EAE collaborated with me on this rework of the classic circuit. My primary complaint with the original units was the low volume. I have had a few original units come thru the shop over the years, and this was fairly universal. My version has the range eq wise of the original, plus two gain modes. I’m looking forward to some feedback on the units that have just been released to the wild. This first batch went fast, i really aporeciate all of the support.

what's up with these cool translucent knobs in your avatar? Do you sell them, or care to share where you got them? I really would love a set of pink translucent chicken heads..
