Her girlfriend is the lesser of two evils, she's certainly a shit but not as much of a shit as his girlfriend and I'm grateful not to be that one.

I wonder whether or not she's actually a good girlfriend. She's only in Toronto, you should come up here and we'll hunt her down and ask her how good of a girlfriend she is from wah to ring-mod.

 I can one up 'creep level' that. She's 'from' Toronto but actually lives in China Town, NYC...so you should come down here and we can execute your plan.
Then I guess we can get dumplings?

I'm expecting her to be flanger level bad, phaser at absolute best.

And to stay relevant, every time Tram have ever used a flanger is a time I've skipped a Tram song.

For y'all have knocked her up
I have tasted the maggots in the mind of the universe
I was not offended
For I knew I had to rise above it all
Or drown in my own shit

Wah only sucks if you move it. Mogwai set it in the sweet spot and then use it to unleash the fury.

FTFY. Wah is the worst.
I'm gonna go out there and say wah and whammy bars are in the same boat of usually being bullshit and boring but also cool every once and a while.
:idk:

Are we talking Floyd Rose hair metal whammy or any vibrato arm at all?

Cause I'm guilty of abusing my vibrato any time I sustain a note

Sure, I agree with this, but why waste the space on an exp-sized pedal. Just toss that shit into a tiny enclosure with one stomp switch and call it a day. When I think of "wah" I think of people working the pedal like a fucking idiot.

Edit: To be clear - Mogwai rules and I love them.

So I'm going to stick up for "vibrato arm" or "whammy bar" .. sure there are a lot of double cock jackin' mother fuckers who abuse it and make it sound horrible.. but then there's Jeff Beck.. who I feel used it literally as a complete instrument on its own with his style. Before eBow and sustainiac and shit, he was getting mileage from feedback and whammy arm..

The "you had it coming" album is just amazing to me ..

He even uses a Wah.. tastefully

Yeah, the sentiment on this page so far is pretty apt for how I feel. When saying wah before I mean the sleazy slamming from heel to toe on a whammy expression pedal.

Cocked wah is considerably less aggravating and it gets my unwarranted and unwanted lazy thumbs up of approval.

I'm still going to use worra as a human shield anyway. We'll bond over it one day.
