Frazz fits the bill perfectly.
Dis. If you rethink your priorities, and maybe replace your tuner or whatever with a tiny version...you might end up with a lot more sweet options for your fuzz search :idk:
Or buy one o' them clippy motherfers for $2 and boom! Another slot for FUZZZZZZZZZZ

I mean that's what I did

I don't know anything about this pedal... but might fit for what you need. Only 26$.

Just want to pipe in that Bitquest on HP/LP mode and the filters wide open is an incredibly rich dirty tone, and not one that I've heard from any other pedal. It may seem like a waste to use a Bitquest just for fuzz, but the fact that there's no dirt-box that sounds remotely similar makes it worth it for that alone.

Isn’t the bass big muff basically a green Russian with a clean blend?

This is truth.

So they say. In my experience it pales in comparison.

The Pigtronix Octava is a micro fuzz/octave up with clean blend. Never used it though, no idea if it's 'heavy' enough.

Thanks for all of the advice, everyone. I've decided to keep the BQ, using HP/LP mode. I hadn't explored it until Bartimaeus suggested it. It's perfect, and I'm not going to find a narrower option unless I move to pancake plugs. As vidret (and others) so commonly advocate, what better tool to use than the one right in front of your big dumb face.

Thanks, pals.
Rad!!!

Put up a photo of the setting you are using!

I recently started using filter mode on my BQ a lot. Ctrl 1 and 2 at almost identical settings from 12' and up and gain knob almost maxed out. Pushed with a low gain drive gives some great harmonics on the verge of self oscillation. Adjust ctrl knobs to adjust feedback note.
