Here's some NAMM updates.
1) T-Rex is pumping the brakes on their Echorec. They put out a detailed a progress report recently, so don't expect to see pre-orders in the next 6 months. It looks more like 10-15 months away. I'm mildly disappointed by the delay, but it certainly helps customers with budgeting/planning their upcoming orders.

2) Here's a couple excerpts from this MR piece.

Vox is planning to move more production to the UK - does that mean more hand-wired models, as per this year’s 60th Anniversary AC15 and AC30 reissues?
There are exciting Orange [pl]ans afoot, big and small, but we can’t say any more than that…
I'm guessing "big and small" means new amps and more additions to their pedal line.
3) I don't know if Adventure Audio will be represented in a shared booth, but their Outer Rings is availble for pre-order. These are scheduled to ship at the end of January.

Bonus: In late-December of 2015, Hologram uploaded their first video of the Dream Sequence. Last January, they unveiled the Infinite Jets. Will we see Hologram reveal their 3rd offering in the coming weeks? I'm sure they have a couple things in development, and I'm curious to see where they'll go next---modulated reverb, phaser/flanger multi-effect, delay, synth-inspired filter pedal?
Also, I don't have any updates on synth rumblings. A lot of people are speculating that we'll see multiple polysynths enter the market, but I'm not aware of any new developments. DSI has unveiled something new over the past 3-4 Winter NAMMs, so that's another one to watch. EQD seems to always unveil 2-3 new designs at Winter NAMM. With the trade show's opening date only 25 days away, I would imagine we're 14-18 days away from the first wave of credible rumors and planned announcements.

But it is a whole performance loop LABORATORY! But seriously, what is it. Pics don't show up. Hmmm. Intrigued at least. Expectations low.

Here is a post from July. It's been spotted during a couple of live performances, but EHX hasn't commented on a release date or any specs.

In this performance pic, the prototype/demo model appears to have 6 bypass switches. It certainly looks to be significantly more powerful and complex than the previous versions.

I tend to trust Rubbermaid, but I'm a label whore.

The SpaceXpander and the Golden Summer are no longer on the Alexander site, but it looks like this Neo Series pedal will combine them. I'm highly interested in this one, because I liked the Plate & Analog settings from the SpaxeXpander, but I didn't want to buy another reverb just for 2 settings. Also, don't expect the production model to be pink. This is likely a one-off used for testing purposes.

Why can't somebody do this right and fit it into a price point that is okay too? It kind of blows my mind at this point. Maybe when the information comes out about it i might have my mind changed, but i don't see it happening.

Store I teach at just got the info on the new Gretsch lineup, looks like they're going HAM for the Gibson market with several of their new models. Will be interesting to see how well it goes over.

Damn, looper is 'spensive.
Isn't it still less than a Boomerang 3 though? I'll wait a bit to see what features it has to justify that price point before being too critical of it. If TC would just make a fucking X3, a size between X2 and X4, with two channels, none of the effects, MIDI and a stop button I would be into it.
It is at least nice to see it'll be out there soon.

Exactly.
Still expensive

But I rather give my money to EHX.
