i adore people that make me feel good about people. beyond being the biggest collection of interesting musicians i know (even if it's a style i don't dig, y'all do it so WELL it's impressive as flutter butts), there's just so many beautiful goobers here.

This thread made me very happy. I've been absent for a lil bit past few months, was a mess over the summer and the autumn has just been crazy busy. I talk every day to some folks in a whatsapp group but I wanna do a lil shoutout to some other people:
UglyNora - one of the first friends on this forum and I've really enjoyed our mutual support for each others stuff over the years

yall are the best. it's true. even when the forum is at it's worst, it's still a great place full of insightful, interesting and creative people. most of the time it's just top notch though. i've had too many positive experiences with folks from here to count, from the overall generous support of the community in terms of my own work to the many face to face interactions i've been fortunate enough to have over the years (all over the world!) with some of you. lots of love always.

I'm liking the love much more than the hate

Since returning I've made peace with Aen, and acquired a Count To Five and a Rainbow Machine from forum members, so there's that, plus I've enjoyed listening to forum member's recordings, and had my wild spending spree on pedals that make strange noises validated, which is nice

If I'm going to find more pedals to add to my wishlist and find encouragement and support for the noises I'm making I don't think there's a better place to be, so here I am, having fun !

i'm really thankful that y'all are here. rather than try and call out people in particular, it's easier to say that there's really nobody i really don't like. i particularly appreciate the folks that post their own music...ever since the first ILFEU i've always tried to make my abstract stuff as cool as the mausoleum recordings.
