Dude, that's monetizing. Come on.
So, when you watch TV you expect commercials to have commercials? :whateva:
No, I expect to fast forward on my DVR.

By proper player I meant someone who will sit down with the pedal, go through the controls, so we can see and hear what's going on....instead of douchebags playing in a bathroom for "artistic cred".

They will release a video like that later on. They always do. Plus there will be 100 YouTube accounts offering up technical demos.

Props for using “douchebag” this time instead of “hipster.” Its use as a catch-all pejorative for anyone who dresses in a way one finds offensive is, frankly, growing tired.

Spot on chank. Thing sounds lovely, would duck with this.

I too hate when people don't apply their boutique things to my narrow field of artistic interest.
Raj, Embrace love.

Honestly though, contextual demos are super useful. They give a better idea of what something will sound like with other frequencies involved than a pedal solo.

Can D'arcy please weigh in? There's a disturbing lack of Frenchitude in this already spiraling thread.

What is the hipster quotient on ILF? I have been described that way before. And then someone told me I was 'too big to be a hipster.' My physique has too little linguine, I guess.

That's actually the part I'm worried about. I like some of their pedals, and I thought this video was fine for what it was (a context demo, not a full exploration), but their "technical demos" are truly unbearable.

*shrug* I liked a lot of what I heard here. I eagerly await third-party demos that explain the pedal in some detail.
