I think the artists have very little to do with these things, it's the kind of thing that probably happens a lot periodically when labels/management need to raise money or free up some space. Reverb just make it more public maybe? Either way, it's reverb that are making the real money overcharging for pedals that J, or Corgan, or Noel Gallagher probably just *tried out for A SECOND*. Actually tbf there was some really cool stuff on Noel's sale, more than I remember in Billy's sale.
