I wish I knew what the inside of the Antichthon looked like, but I don't think I've even seen anyone with one on their board.

.....nightwire. from earthquaker...wasn't that super awesome envo tremolo action? Never saw anyone talk about it.
Edit: oh okay it's a manual setting that reacts to pick attack...acts as envo theysay.

Mine came today, and honestly it fails at whatever it was going for. I'll be direct and say I find most DBA pedals essentially unusable unless you're trying to sound like A Place To Bury Strangers, so if you're looking to sound like a broken vacuum cleaner the Exit Index is right up your ally.

That just makes me want it more
Broken is what I like in a dirt.
Did you find it drastically different from the demo?

Both of these statements cannot be true.

Mine came today too...
uh
More investigation is needed...
I might like it? I dunno. It's very hard to get a feel for the envelope of the tremolo, like your signal needs to fade in order for the tremolo to come up, but the distance between my signal falling off and how slow the envelope is to react make it really weird. Theres some pretty bizarre robot/ring mod sounds that are pretty good. As a farty overdrive its kind of cool, just having a hard time making use of the tremolo effect.

It definitely feels different, yes. I even tried the settings in the demo and had to tweak the knobs a bit more to get even get roughly the same sounds.
Some might like what it can do, but honestly you're better off getting a good tremolo and running a fuzz with it.

I noticed in the demo that he seemed to be playing very lightly. Now that I've had a few minutes with mine, I can confirm that to get ongoing tremolo, you have to play softer and/or lower your volume going into it. EGC single-coils had to be turned down a bunch and they're not even that hot. Or just enjoy how the tremolo fades in as notes decay. It's a feature not a bug.

So it cops the classic Mentally Ill tones?
