A pedal that do delay only will be better than a pedal that does multi things. So the answer is yes.

I use multiple delays as a way to ward off people trying to listen to my 'anti-music'. Like the spider moth, I must wield off predators.

Either that or you use multiple delays to mask your multiple shortcomings as a player?

'Player' is a strong word. I don't know if I can consider myself even that!

This is good. That's what ILF is about. Charity and being kind. Thank you!

No problem my young friend. I've often been told I am kind to a fault, so this is just who I am. It just comes naturally.

I apologize to the OP of this thread but I have enjoyed the banter.
Personally, I think delays are like crayons. Malekko has three 616 Delays and they 'functionally' do the exact same thing, with the exact same delay time...but they all sound different per their voicing.
I wish I had a delay with an FX loop so that I didn't need so many crayons.
Alright Nora, back to the Singing Bowl Thread we go!!!

No need to apologise, it's made a thread that started badly much better
Just to be clear, the weird sounding delays are all part of the fun - I "could" learn to play better, but anyone can do that

I have at least 5 weird delays (not even counting the CT5, that is an 'accessible' utility in my eyes) and 2 'normal' ones just off the top of my head.
I understand the 'concept' at getting better at something....but the 'application' has never worked for me personally.
Delay is a sound shaper as much as a structural tool. That's why a lot of synth makers add a gnarly delay onboard some synths (from stuff as inexpensive as a Volca Keys -> As expensive as a MacBeth Elements).

Each of the pedals you listed only counts as one quarter to one third of a delay pedal, so you're still well below the three-delay minimum for a regulation pedalboard. Just sayin'...

this is something I can get behind - getting more gear and doing less getting better.
