Digging through the archives, I found a reasonable solution: http://www.ilovefuzz.com/viewtopic.php? ... a4#p224104
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

Colors are cool but I'm more about that Mohs & resonance variety: hardwoods, horn, shell, bone, ceramic, crystal, stone, alloy.
Various heft & textures, generally on the hard side but humanely/responsibly sourced :hobbes:

As for the records...
Both, and neither. I own both albums in triplicate; vinyl tape & cd but neither title is in my phone, locally or part of saved playlists.
I'm still burnt out from hearing those songs at their 10th and 20th anniversaries+carryover. Parts were already stuck in my head 4L.
Classics I don't need to hear again any time soon, but will revisit at some point fo sho

Appetite for Destruction is a great record, I like GNR lies better but it's still awesome.

Dookie is just meh. It was great if you were ~15 when it came out but any re-listen and your like fuck what?

Fender heavy 751s FTW. also, Green Day vs. G&R epitomizes the Jagger/Richards lyric "a choice of cancer or polio."

My son and I prefer the orange Tortex picks... does that make us too weird? I've no love for either GNR or Green Day though... or Metallica either... we prefer Pavement from that sort of era (or My Bloody Valentine).
