Yes! I have some program on my computer that I use instead. Google 3rd party volca sample apps and you'll find stuff
Edit: found what I use. It's called Vosyr, it's free and has a good overview of samples

I used Vosyr but I like the mobile app because portability.

I read that you can pan each sample across stereo. Any of you guys running its output into stereo pedals with its single output, and what are you using to do that?

When you upload samples, do you have to convert them to 16bit/33kHz beforehand or can Volca do this?

Does anybody here use one of these as, like, a one shot sampler or something, instead of as a drum machine? Been thinking of snagging one and loading some vocal oohs and aahs that i can trigger at will. it's between this and a sp-404, and this is significantly less monies
