To be marginally on topic for once Superunknown is Sgt. Peppers because it's the apex of the band in the studio -- compared to Revolver (better songs) or TWA (more studio indulgence at the expense of songs, for whatever that's worth). Sgt. Peppers is a bit of a hit factory and an incredible record, sonically. First double LP anyone aside from your crazy uncle ever bought, &c.
That said, I have never met a contemporary Beatles fan, compared to a journalist or someone who thinks their opinion should be "right" say it's their favorite Beatles record. Same is basically true for Superunknown, everyone seems to go towards BadMotorFinger or something else.
Which is nuts because Superunknown is far and away their best record and y'all are crazy.
I also like "With The Beatles" but this is by far the superior album cover...

Crazy? no it's just SG post BMF is just not as awesome...
But lets talk about a much better Seattle band... 8 Way Santa is TADs Sgt. Pepper's going along those lines, it's the most well known, smoothest production, and songs that people that can "get" and as de-warted as you can get for a TAD album.. But still those fucking rhythms
Gone Fishing, I tried.
I just like talking, and reading about music. Of course the Sgt. Peppers analogy is retarded but going through that exercise is fun.
"Superunknown" is awesome. Choosing between that and "Badmotorfinger" is a good problem to have. I'm a huge fan of THE DOORS and after years cannot seem to pin down which one is my favorite (usually I say "The Soft Parade")
