Do $200 pedals that only have $22 worth of parts count?

Post $22 pedals or GTFO!

How's that for a troll?

He's implying that the entire thread is a troll. Which it is most certainly not.

So, post $22 pedals or STFU!

I guess if I had chosen the number 23, Discordians would've been happier.

Lots of Fab series for around $22. Anyone use any of them?

Ok, I've got to ask. What does this mean? I feel stupid for asking but at the same time, I just don't get it. Soooooo....someone enlighten me?

I mean, how would I not think it was a troll thread in light of all the other jokes? Is this really a question?

The FAB Echo is a good slapback delay. I forget the maximum time, it's pretty short (.33 seconds, or something like that)

I am seriously interested in $22 pedals.

This flanger only has three knobs though:

Never used the fabtone series, did use the OG Fabtone and the predecessor Danelectro pedals though, they can usually be found for about the same price as these plastic housing ones

this is slightly more than $22 but I remember it being one of the best chorus pedals I've ever used.

I'm sure you could get a Danelectro French Toast for $20 bucks, those are pretty awesome sounding. I think they are Foxx Tone Machine clones.

I've had the Overdrive, Metal, and Fuzz, but kept the Distortion. The Metal is a fun, over-the-top thing, but I didn't find it particularly useful for making my non-metal music. The Fuzz was okay, with very hot output, but didn't give me a reason to keep it. The Overdrive was annoyingly plastic sounding, even as Tube Screamer derivatives go. The Distortion is surprisingly full, dynamic, and good-sounding with only on occasional hint of cheapness in the sound. Great for a kid's first pedal that they can keep until it quits.
