There was that JHS pedal that was an april fools joke that I really really want.
I think it was called In and Out and it was an effects loop that would include more of the signal loop the harder you played through a dynamic filter
Seems quite feasible and no one has made one I dont think?

I want a "simple" Looper.
I want this Looper to be able to record max 15-20 seconds
I want a reverse function
I want a speed knob
I Don't want it to work like a Ditto...but like a CT5 where you press, hold, record, release and plays back smoothly
I want a momentary switch that can act as a skip/stutter/glitch
I want it in a normal sized enclosure (like a CT5, etc)
That's it.
I want this.
What do you want that doesn't exist?
All this can be done with the Timefactor, but...
normal sized enclosure
I really should learn to use my timefactor

Nah, Geiger counter does wave table.
Waveset is distortion around wavesets, or three zero crossings of the wave form. There are various types, but most can't be done in real time. The idea behind it is microsound, or perceived texture in sound.

a 16 second delay has most of those features, definitely not the size, but yeah. especially if it's modded to get rid of the 4 beat intro thing it does

As you probably know, you can use the expression pedal to sweep the speed (or speed/direction, or speed/direction/window size, or, or, or...).
But then you can program an aux switch with one button to toggle reverse (or reverse 1/2 time, or, or...) and the other two to specific settings that are interesting to you, like a short sample window at a particular point in the loop. If you then sweep the speed (etc.) while tapping those little switches, you'll end up in a bizarre and glitchy land.
OR you could set the expression pedal to sweep the playback position, you could program a desirable window size to one of the aux switches, reverse to another, and the last to 10% time and sweep through the loop. Glory and mayhem.
It is a POWERFUL machine, that looper. With the expression pedal and the aux switch, you are God.
However, with exp and aux it is probably five or six times larger than what raj007 wants...

Friends, that WANT to/can play instruments
I want this Looper to be able to record max 15-20 seconds
so...
this would be a big station of a unit
Id love the dj fx looper in my roland sp 404, in a "pedal" big lovetone pedal, or bigger like snazzy!..
only it would record for longer, yeah 15-20 seconds max option would be tits,
..with a vinyl section that would function just like a hexe melusine...now heres the kicker clincher...
In the middle would be a big knob that picks up radio stations! so I could capture/record voices on the fly and play over them..
and if we could go all out...I suppose....
...to cherry top this beast, a reverb that shape shifts as it trails...like deep dark cathedral to a quick shimmer splash to clean/transparent and a momentary switch to activate a algorithm/arpeggio as it trails off it bounces. ...guess that would sound like an ocean....
idk in my head that sounds cool but the top portion of this for sure.
and if this unit were played live, would promote
Peace on Earth

I've got a bunch of radios and intercoms downstairs, maybe I should try doing this...

Incidentally, I used the same unit to create my "should exist but didn't" effect: envelope controlled panner.

It's my favorite pedal for sure. I am perpetually considering getting a second so I can use one as a dedicated looper.
