I am glad I grabbed mine while the gettings were good.

And for those old Hellhammer albums, realistically shitty mics and cooked Marshalls.

AFAIK Hellhammer's stuff was mostly recorded with a Peavey Deuce - it wasn't until Celtic Frost that Tom started using JCM800s.

FWIW Metal Zones are awesome. The EQ is so powerful they should be really popular with anyone looking to get more interesting tones, and they are easy as shit to mod.

But don't get it all over him!

We're talking the combo right? That would make sense I guess. My buddy has one and (I think) it is an awesome amp. They can be had for cheap too.

I got my Metal Zone around this time last year. I paid the premium of $35. :picard: Could have saved $13 and gotten some Arby's and Soy milk.

Yeah the combo.

Never played one, but Tom has always been interested in good guitar tone, even when that term was a very, very relative concept.

Metal zone is king of radio tones. Drop the gain and start moving those mids.

I just texted my buddy and told him I have dibs if he sells it. He was my housemate for a few years and knows my passion for 1st wave black metal guitar tones and riffs. I don't think he knows what he has. He lives in Philly so he probably 1. Found it on a corner 2. Bought it for maybe $50.

This is the same friend who got the first solid state (brand) half stack made for like $25. Junkies will sell anything for a fix.

Yea, they're cheap even when not from junkies.

A friend here has two.

Paid < $100 each, one in the last couple years.

I don't know if I'm ready to harness the power of two of them.

I'd need an Energy Department license.

Department of Energy here... Heard you're considering 2 MT-2's. El hefe, Presidente Trump, will proceed with building a wall around you should you harness such power.

That is only reasonable.

Should I acquire two, I understand the nation's needs come first!
