Re: crazy analog modulation pedals

Mold spore.
So why does everything need to be analog here? If you want weird and crazy most of that isn't going to come from completely analog pedals. However, lots of circuits will have an analog signal path and digital control. Analog isn't the be-all end-all though. In 2017 you wouldn't be able to tell the difference without opening the pedal.tremolo3 wrote:Is it analog?Bartimaeus wrote:Cosmichorus!

I couldn't care less for digital/analog in modulation or time-based FX. I sold all of my analog pedals when I've got my digital peds =]
Whelp. There you go. I think I was remembering the "filter chip" part without ever realizing it was an analog chip. Anyway it's awesomeechorec wrote:ritz wrote:The aforementioned Shapeshift Mountain is digital but damn it slayshttp://www.warmstarelectronics.com/shop ... ftmountainAll-Analog Construction
I have a long-standing argument with a friend who refuses to accept that not all chips are digitalritz wrote:Whelp. There you go. He thinks that the inputs/outputs are continuous voltage signals like any other electrical components, but he thinks that the insides of all chips are entirely digital?jwar wrote:The fuck does he think they are??
