Seriously though, I'm just embracing the meme of me hating OBNE. This just doesn't interest me in the same way 99% of ODs and distortions don't interest me. Plus, I play bass. This sounded pretty thin to me, so there's that too.

So far, I've been pretty content with my Fuck and Bedlam Drive.
Honestly, the only thing that'd interest me right now is a Fuck Mountain or maybe a Mini + 741/4558 (Dist +/DOD 250, etc.) combo, both of which I could just build myself if I really wanted to.

It sounds fine, but it also seems like it'd be more appealing to the P&W (they love their dual stacking overdrives ) or Indie Rawk crowd than anyone else. I'll wait for the demo before I cast real doubts, but I have a feeling this one's gonna be pretty vanilla.

It was a year ago. I asked if anyone had said pedal and you another villager were like Justin Theroux saving his daughter on the last episode of season 1 of the THE LEFTOVERS. You were like "Sharktooth! Noooo!" That's probably not what happened... I wound up getting an AARP instead and very happy I did!

I mean good on em for changing what they're doing a little bit, but agreeing with others re: Fuck. Putting out a $200 OD with no demo beyond a mastered song that may or may not feature that pedal throughout is hardly enough to draw any real excitement, and even with the inevitable tech demo they'll release it's still just a drive with an extra gainstage; there's not a huge amount to explain there. Cool design, though.

Nice video, as usual. But I can't get super excited over four chords with a scratchy and somewhat thin sounding distorted guitar. Might be the lack of bass or the unreveiling teaser video, but so far it just seems like there's about a zillion dirt boxes out there nowadays that can do a similar lofi medium gain fuzz job, right?
