There was a big Prymaxe thread a long time ago that Tom and other manufacturers posted in about how lame Prymaxe was because they were offering a 15% off coupon every week. It's pretty easy to imagine how one company offering a constant discount from what you want the pedal to sell at can hurt your business personally and the pedal business as a whole. I am sure some manufacturers might be on that list for that reason.
Another thing to note from that thread, which I would link but I am on my phone, is builders as well as past employees of Prymaxe commented on how shitty the owner is/was.
