Re: Forever ped
Also want to add, in a thread awhile back I kept referring to the Infanem builder as "he," (I think the builder used to go by Ken) and someone informed me that she had transitioned, which of course made me feel like a giant fucking asshole, cus she's one of my favorite ped designers (I also love her 141 fuzz pedals). So, just a "for the record," hope I didn't offend her (or anyone else) with that (I didn't know she had transitioned).

For me it's gotta be my SS/BS No Memory. Unfortunately I sent it off to get etched last month & it's lost in the mail

That's like the ultimate tone of the No Memory. Are you sure it ever existed?

Yep, can't know everything about everyone! I only knew because it was mentioned on here briefly, quite a while ago. Your heart's in the right place, man—don't feel bad!jwar wrote:How the hell would you have known? I wouldn't worry about it.

lol but settings-wise I like to leave it to pretty dark echos (EQ about 11:00), probably 3-5 repeats that are audible, ~75-150ms delay time, light modulation (envelope sensitive, obviously), and wet signal about 40% and dry signal about 60%. I thought I liked reverb, then I heard that sound & haven't really enjoyed a reverb pedal since then

Re: Forever ped
Thanks dude, it was last scanned 3/29 leaving Minnesota :/
I have a claim open with USPS right now & I should hear back from the last couple of parties involved (haven't yet heard from the last facility where it was scanned) in the next few days and know for sure from there. I really hope it turns up because unless Brian can come thru with that mega homie hookup for me there's no way that pittance of an insurance payment from USPS can cover a new one at resale value. Also the cherry on top is that the etch was partial payment for making Jack some shirts & the rest of the payment was sent in cash... inside the same box

Was it mailed first class? I've had some weird shit happen with first class mail lately, where it seems as if it's lost, going nowhere, or even traveling back to where it came from, and then suddenly appearing at its destination.

Re: Forever ped
That's sad, hopefully it shows up ^
I think my forever pedal is the Frazz (which is why I'm shocked I have not bought the new one yet). I boost it with the Heisenburg for my metal riffs.
...And I haven't been using this pedal much lately, but my disaster transport has been on my board for 5+ years so prob that as well.

V3 Muff is my "cold dead hands" pedal... I may not use it every day, but it's the only fuzz that sounds like me - probably because I've been playing it for 20 years...
Runner up is the Space Echo... rfurtkamp nailed it, use it for the preamp as much as the echoes...

Re: Forever ped
RM-1N has stayed on the board since I got it, and is definitely on more than any other pedal. If I really had to make a tiny board, a Rat, RM and about any delay would be all it would "need".

CT5, Rat2. Never forget. I could use that as a board for a gig and be only kinda bummed.

Re: Forever ped
It was priority, and should've been delivered the last day it was scanned (still leaving its origin state). Luckily after a single call from myself and at least 3 calls from the wonderful JonnyAngle, the package magically appeared at my local sorting station yesterday and is out for delivery today. I feel like I just got hit by an 18-wheeler full of reliefWittgenstein wrote:Was it mailed first class?
