Nah, I do need those fancy options actually. Or most of em anyway. It's just the price tag I don't like too muchabio wrote:to op: if you're after a supa puss-like delay but don't need all the fancy functions, the aquapuss might be a wise choice

Damn. Exactly the sort of ideas I was looking for. How did those two manage to stay under my radar?hotknife wrote:The Xvive Memory delay gets a lot of positive reviews. Can be found for less than $100 used (and on sale). Retails new for $120 somethin. Designed by Howard Davis. Simple. Same awesome Memory Man modulation.
There's also this:
Sinvertek Fluid Time MKII : $189 new. Analog with TT and a shitload of other stuff. Couple of demos on youtube to check out.
Edit: These are NOT recommendations. Haven't tried either, but thought you may want to.
So yeah, I'll check 'em out, cheers.

At least. In my defence, it's not just my indicisiveness or GAS. I loved the shit out of my ES-2 untill it decided to crap the bed. The daydream delay I bought recently is all kinds of awesome, but it's also somewhat of a novelty, it can't replace a straight forward analog delay.vidret wrote:oh my god dude. 100th time?
Fwiw, I just started looking at that sinvertek unit, and so far it seems sick. So I'm ready to call it a day again. For now

And this:
should be your plan of attack.Invisible Man wrote:http://www.80tape.com/product/limbo-iii-compact

Kinda pricey maybe, but the compact In Limbo III would do all of that and then some.
A cheaper option would be an EHX Memory Boy Deluxe.
Limbo is beyond satisfying.

Yarr, the features on it are wicked. Prettay good price too. Keeping an eye on it as a contender for my next analog delay. Either that or go back to the Maude for dat modulation.ProCarsteNation wrote: wait what?
