Good idea, but why Fuschia...? Make it a Fender color like Burgundy Mist or something. Paint it Burgundy Mist first, then when you get sick of that, THEN paint it black. When you get sick of that, THEN start relic-ing it.

But nothing wrong with the green, so why not start with a new pickguard (mint green, parchment or a relicced yellow-white) and wait to paint it later.

Fuscia is the perfect blend of pink and purple.
