yeah the BitQuest is an insanely cool pedal. It's a "time traveler" for sure as in, you start messing with it at Noon and all of a sudden it's 2:30pm...wfs1234 wrote:My angry dirt sound is the dirty bitcrusher on that. It's like when you're at the beach and you find a seashell. You put it to your ear to hear that lovely ocean sound, and find out it's full of angry bees. It's a wonderfully painful sound and I love it.vidret wrote:only reason i don't buy digital dirt is i haven't found any appealing ones yet. bitquest is digidirt tho, love that fuzz.

They definitely sound exactly the same in pretty much every way. I figured out 1 was the SA pedal based on the sound of the switches.

Just some thoughts...
Digital dirt but ran through a tube amp vs
Analog dirt through like a Line 6 amp
Realistically wouldn't the amp that's processing and delivering the sound have a major impact on the end tone? I can imagine a sick digital dirt sounding good through tubes that are already being pushed to make it a bit more organic but on the flip side a crappy modeling amp rendering the awesomest of analog dirts weak and crappy sounding

Someone just asked about the BAT Witch Burner in another thread. I just got the Boss Katana 100 head which although is NOT a modeler, is still a low budget modeler TYPE of amp. Perhaps I can do a clip showing the Witch Burner through the same cab using a nice tube amp and the Katana set to similar base tones. Can also do the Kingmaker doing the same method and see how drastic the tone differences are in each scenario.
