Congrats, and its good to hear a report on these.
Have been curious as to how theyd turn out in the wild.
I'm really digging them. They have all of these great little touches. The graphics go together well but the colors are easy to tell apart, much like my beloved Boss pedals. The top-mounted jacks are in a good spot. The sides are bare metal, so you can put them next to each other without ruining the paint.

That all sounds like they actually gave a fuck when they decided to make em.
Rad!

I bought a new full size Wolfie a few months back, from a run of ten. You just gotta follow his Instagram/Reverb store. Or, you know, just hit him up. He's doing smaller runs now, which is understandable after what went down, but he seems to be doing them fairly regularly.
But yeah, congrats, Chuck!

They escaped lo-fi from Crooked Rain onwards. Malkmus has amazing 'tone' and is a fucking incredible player (his solo albums really display his guitar-heroism more than Pavement (who's eclecticism is still a severely important part of the 90's)).
But yeah. On topic. If I had to grab 2 pedals from my ig to do it all (which is generally what I'll use to write songs with) then it'd be my RAT (Whiteface reissue) and my DE7. As many have said here. I'd die without my DL4 for looping live but for the actual sounds thats all I'd really need. Maybe a clean boost to goose the RAT into more saturation so yr not only stuck with 2 gain stages?

And FWIW early Pavement was silverface Twins plus RATs or Big Muffs.

I suggested the soundtank because its almost a rat circuit, but with more gain and can be had for nearly nothing.
Its actually pretty good but would be even more awesome if you rehoused it.
Would do lofi with its weird eq, particularly if you have a bright amp/guitar and you give zero fucks about eq.

Soundtanks confuse me. On looks they should be called Soundskanks, but many of them sound damn fine, just lots of smart minor variations on classic stuff....
I may never let go of my AW5, no matter how skeevy it looks, cuz they sprinkled just the right proportion of distortion fairy dust on that filter and they reined in the resonance to perfection.... It helps that everyone else gets stankface when they see it, bc I could only get, like, 15 drachma selling it, so I might as well stay loyal and save my squelchy soul.
