Yeah Teej is definitely doing a new run, there was a post in the Shark Tank about it this morning. Or you could spend $350 for one on Reverb

I use mine all the time or I'd sell it to you while waiting for the new run.
Not a Tape+ but I'm getting a Moomindrone+ tomorrow and I am super psyched on it

You pick up that Moomindrome from Raj007? I saw his post a bit too late. And by that I mean I came up on the money a day too late.
And of course there's a Kompact Kassette on BST right now that the dude only wants things I have that I like, like the 856 and shit. So that's a no go.
I just want it to sound like my amp is a broken tape deck.

Dear Strymon,
Y u no make a box where you can pick like 3 different modes with less controls for like half the price?

Mid-fi clean clari(not) / pitch pirate (depending on how you want the warbles to respond to your input, the clari(not) is more fucked up in response, pitch pirate will do a steady lfo modulation) + any SRR pedal.

I know it's a far cry in some ways, but a bitquest can do a lot of this stuff, too.

There is a cool video where someone does a sound like that with a couple of pedals. A fuzz face with the gain on lowest, an eq, a sample rate reducer (Mooer lofi iirc) and a vibrato. Might not be as easy as just a gen loss but it was cool
Edit: found it

I was thinking about how.. how?
You mean the flanger, low delay time, sweepy chorusy thing? and then max out the mix, turn down tone? yes.
or.. the filter mode?
Flex your brain, dude...whoa.
This; the bit crusher; the filters; subtle use of the modulation on the delay. It can be a pretty destructive box if you want it to be.

I'm looking for the same thing as you. Here are some of the things I found on the web (I don't own these). Most are delays with a vibrato though. Not really instant tape simulators like what I really want.
Fairfield Circuitry - Meet Maude
Holowon – Tape Soup
HEXE – Melusine III (vinyl simulator)
DigdugDIY – Ends & Oceans (lo-fi reverb/compression)
Sanzzy FX - Wow and Flutter
Just bought a second hand Kompakt Kassette for €190 on ebay. I hope it works after all the bad stories I read on this forum, haha.
Also pre-ordered the Lone Wolf VHS delay. Might be your cup of tea. Haven't heard any audio demo's, so it's a bit of a guess though.

I'm pretty sure most of the stuff you listed is harder to get than a genloss.
Also, Fairfield is working on a random vibrato that might be more your thang.

I patched up something in the ballpark on my Axoloti. Sample rate reduction, pink noise tied to an envelope follower, hp/lp filters, and warbly chorus/vibrato. Also threw in some random slight volume jumps and drops for fun.

Ughhh I've wanted to try a Maude forever. The Echo Degrader is really cool but I'm replacing it w a Nemesis for now as I already have a Tonal Recall that can do some pretty degenerative shit. The Seppuku stuff looks really wicked, might try to try that out.
I've given up on owning Snazzy stuff as it's always a million dollars orrrr a good price and immediate salez

Oh wait. P&W'd
Man, I'd totally buy a standalone pedal with Destroyer, same as Quadrature.
So this!!!!
