Actually, fuck it. Ask Tom to build you a Doom Bloom w/blend. :)

Elements and tafm are sticking around in my rig, both great pedals.

I had a modified Russian big muff with blend and mids. I miss that thing. It's up for sale in Sweden now too

I use a T-Rex Bass Juice atm. Not quite as cool nor advanced as the likes of Elements, Frazz or TAFM, but it's pretty good, and about half the price of those guys.

Toneczar Openhaus...wait it doesn't have a clean blend, but it doesn't need one either. :)

What kind of dirt man??? I'm going to say The Elements is the most versatile, but there's so many options.

Cheapest option is just get a clean blend pedal or build one.

I've actually never had a Doom Bloom, but the Algal Bloom v2 is fantastic for blends.

I keep hearing that about the Algal blend. Reaalllly want to try one. The Doom is so good, though. Sold all my muffs and a TAFM as it made them redundant + is able to breach other territory.

Quoted for truth!

I have multiple points in my total chain on different mixer channels, let's me mix and match levels easily

Unless modding yer fav dirt pedal or getting a mixer or clean blend pedal is an option...I'll add another vote for The Elements. Never messed with the TAFM.

ODB-3 has a sick price:gnarl ratio btw. It's more like the bastard child of an FZ-2 and HM-2 rather than something you'd describe as a "bass overdrive".

Bumping this cause it's the shit. The last couple of days I've split my clean bass into two channels. One's phase inverted and goes straight to the mixer, the other goes through fx to another channel on the mixer. Can't believe I hadn't done this long ago, it adds so much more functionality to the fx.
